Should you stay or should you go? Understand more about the dynamic environment you are paddling and how to interpret the data. Learn how to utilize multiple resources including your own physical observations and all the best phone apps. Those new to Whidbey also enjoy this class as a way of learning about the island’s weather peculiarities and when to safely walk its beaches.

Thinking of paddling around beautiful Whidbey Island without a guide? Are you bringing your own boat and gear or doing a long term rental? Looking for the key local knowledge of the tides, currents and weather of the Salish Sea?
Set up a one hour consultation with one of our team either online in advance of your trip or in-person once you arrive. We offer this professional trip planning service for organized groups with experience and practiced rescue skills who wish to lead their own tribe but who are not familiar with local conditions. Our rationale for offering this service is with safety in mind. We do not want to interfere with your confidence, but our waters are dynamic.
