Our Shorter, yet still Sweet, Tours
Our short 2-hour tours are perfect for those who are new to kayaking, families, or for those who are trying to see and do everything that Whidbey has to offer in a short amount of time. With a backdrop of Whidbey and Camano islands, a majestic view of the Cascade mountains, and a range of wildlife from seals, crabs, eagles, heron, (and sometimes whales!), plus a ‘paddle 101’ lesson from our guides, these tours are an easy and convenient way to get out onto the water.
Cost: $59 per paddler, plus WA State sales tax
Location: starts and finishes at our headquarters at 201 Wharf Street in the South Whidbey Harbor. (map)
Duration: 2.5 (approximately 30 minutes of prep and instruction and 2 hours on the water)
Start times: vary due to the season and day.
* During the summer, winds can kick up a bit in the afternoon. Due to this, we recommend that groups with kids under the age of 10 and/or complete beginners sign up for morning tours. Check our [tour calendar] if you are searching by date.
Group Tour Minimums: We need at least 3 paddlers to run our group tours. So if you reserve for a group of two and we don't get any other guests for that tour, you will be asked to switch dates, upgrade to a Private Twosome Tour or do a kayak rental.
