Whidbey Half Day Kayak Adventures, aka “The Real Deals with Seals”
Explore kelp beds and bays, spy seals and eagles, and enjoy some beach-combing too! Our half-day adventures are for those who want a leisurely paddle, lasting memories, and more time to enjoy the beauty of Whidbey Island and its coasts.
We begin these adventures from a couple of our most favorite launches on the island. The paddling is scenic from all 3 spots with mountain views, rural coastlines and lots of wildlife. We'll paddle for an hour or two and then spend some time ashore midway to stretch our legs and have some snacks. We always begin with a water safety discussion and a review of paddle stroke technique.
Cost: $99 per paddler, plus WA State sales tax
Tours & Their Launch sites:
Possession Point in Clinton (map)
Saratoga Passage in Langley (map)
Penn Cove in Coupeville (map)
Days and times: They vary for each launch site due to tides. We do this so you aren’t paddling against the current both ways. Check for each tour or see our [tour calendar] for options by date.
Duration: Usually between 3.5 to 4.5 hours and are customizable for the group.
Sometimes wind speed and direction will force us to move the tour from one location to another, but we'll be sure to let you know if you have an advance reservation. Feel free to bring your own lunch, although we provide some healthy, yummy noshes and plenty of water.
** We must have a minimum total of 4 guests to run a Whidbey Half Day Kayak Adventure. If there are fewer than 4 people, we reserve the right to ask guests to reschedule or to pick another tour.
