The Whidbey Island Kayaking Company is a kayaking tour and rental company based on beautiful Whidbey Island, Washington. This year we celebrate our 10 year anniversary providing guided sea kayak tours in the waters around Whidbey Island.

Sea kayaking is the quintessential Northwest adventure. Seeing Whidbey Island from the water is a unique perspective not available by any other means.

Never kayaked? No problem. Our tours are tailored to the first-time kayaker. No previous experience is necessary. Paddling is fun and easy to learn. Our trained guides provide a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience.

We supply kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Bring water compatible shoes, sunglasses, windbreaker, sunscreen and a disposable camera. Smiles are mandatory!

Whidbey Island offers a variety of wildlife. From your kayak you may see Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herron, Cormorants and Harlequin Ducks. You may also see Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, Dahl's Porpoise and more. In the early spring, we concentrate our tours in the Saratoga passage where Gray Whales cruise through and feed on the local ghost shrimp.

Participants are required to sign a release form. We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to adverse water or weather conditions with full refund.
